PadelMints ("we", "our", or "us") operates the PadelMints mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Booking Data: Court bookings, dates, times, and associated club information.
- Location Data: With your permission, we collect your device's GPS location to show nearby padel clubs and calculate distances. You can disable this in your device settings at any time.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app crash reports to improve the app experience.
- Usage Data: Anonymous analytics on how you use the app (screens visited, features used).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To process and manage court bookings
- To show you nearby padel clubs based on your location
- To send booking confirmations and reminders via push notifications
- To improve the app and fix bugs using crash reports and analytics
- To communicate with you about your account or bookings
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure, hosted in the European Union (europe-west). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect data:
- Firebase Authentication: For secure sign-in
- Cloud Firestore: For storing app data
- Firebase Analytics: For anonymous usage statistics
- Firebase Crashlytics: For crash reporting
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: For push notifications
These services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only:
- With padel clubs to confirm your bookings
- If required by law or legal process
- To protect the safety of our users

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent for location tracking
- Export your data in a portable format

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Booking history is kept for 12 months after completion. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

PadelMints is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, via in-app notification.
